GP's have not received vaccines yet but they are coming and this is for your information.

If you have or at any point before your vaccination appointment develop recent onset respiratory symptoms and particularly:

  • Cough
  • Shortness of Breath
  • Fever
  • Loss of Smell
  • Loss or Change of Taste
  or

  • Are awaiting a COVID test result

Please DO NOT book or attend a vaccination appointment.

Instead ring the Practice and book a telephone consultation stating you have respiratory symptoms or are awaiting a COVID test result.

  • If you have been a close contact of a person who has COVID in the last 14 days
  • Have returned from abroad in the last 14 days
Please DO NOT book or attend a vaccination appointment.

Instead ring the Practice and book a telephone consultation stating you have been a potential COVID contact and we will rearrange you vaccination to a date after your 14 day restricted movement / self-isolation period is over.

Attending the Practice with COVID will put other Patients and the Staff at risk and potentially close the Practice for days / weeks. People need to attend for their vaccination and know it is being done in the safest possible way. We need to stay open to vaccinate everyone. Please lets all "Stay Safe".

GPs Are Your Vaccination Experts, But It Is A Massive Task To Vaccinate Everybody. We Need You To Assist Us In Helping You.

  • Please do not book a vaccination appointment unless you have received a text message or phone call from us inviting you to do so. You might deprive somebody at higher risk of COVID death from having a vaccination and you will not be vaccinated when you attend. We have to follow strict Government guidelines on the order of vaccination.
  • Receptionists have no access to the vaccination booking system, so please do not call the Practice to book for a vaccination. You will need to book it online using a link that will be texted to you or we will book you when we call you.
  • If you have trouble booking a vaccination appointment online then ask a friend / neighbour/ family member for help.
  • Please try not to call the Practice about vaccinations as you could be blocking a sick person’s access to care. Instead read the information we have placed for your here on this website and the link to information about COVID vaccination from the HSE below.
  • Please attend your appointment on time to prevent precious vaccine being wasted.
  • Please understand GPs can only give the type of COVID vaccine that they have been supplied with and in line with Government guidelines. Unfortunately neither the GP or you have a choice in the type of COVID vaccine you receive.
